Today has been pretty much a 'do nothing' day - despite all my plans otherwise. I had plans to finish up another poster for E.; make some more candles and work on drawings for the website. I did work on the poster but it is far from finished. Sigh.
I forgot to mention the most spectacular thing from last night - when the snow fell, each individual snowflake held its shape this time instead of clumping altogether and forming one huge blanket. It looked as if the yard was covered with millions of herkimer diamonds, all sparkling with divine light. I have never seen so many different configurations of snowflakes either. I know that there are no two alike but I had no idea...plain ones; ornate ones, pentagram shaped and asterisk shaped. Some looked as if they were covered in the most ornate filigree I have ever seen! Some were also very dense while others were barely discernible on the windshield or roof.
Tonight, the stars are out for the first time in I don't know how long. It's been so long (or maybe just seems that long ago...) that I almost forgot what they looked like. It pretty much made up my mind for me - I'm going to do a website on the stars. Nothing very heavy - just backyard astronomy. It's a way I can give back and pass on some of the wonder that I feel every time I look up. I wonder if Jack Horkheimer has a website? That would be a great site to link to...and I still miss seeing his little 5 minute show on tv under the name 'The Star Hustler'. It appears that political correctness has struck again.
I think that I also want to do one on the Civil War. I don't want the usual battle strategy and whatnot but the reasons into why the war began. I also want to do a section on females who fought in disguise. I don't know what else just yet...
I think that's it for tonight. I don't feel all that intellectual or talkative. That's the way it is sometimes. Good night, Sweetie.
