January 11, 2000 Word(s) of the day: coadunate: adj. [LL coadunatus, pp. of coadunare to combine, fr. L co- + adunare to unite, fr. ad- + unus one - more at ONE] : UNITED esp: grown together I feel as if my body is becoming one big coadunate, aching mess. I hope 'Enza's not coming for a visit. That last time I had the flu, I was sick for the entire month of January. It happened again - I'm getting to the last quarter or so of my paper journal and the new one showed up, right on time. Every time I get to the same place in the old journal, the new one appears. This time, I got two. Wally World had a special where I could get two 5x7 spiral bound hardcovers for $2.97. They're the perfect size! |
I really don't want to focus on injustice today - so I won't.
I feel as if I've been kicked into high gear again. Let's see - since I last did an online entry, I've added about 2 1/2 feet to the stone walkway; laid out the direction I want it to take, and begun digging the flower border along side it. The border is about a foot wide and a foot deep - and 30 or so long. I've about half of it done. I also went into Tech and put in two days as volunteer helper during registration.
I've also taken on a tough, seemingly impossible task. It's become a near obsession to cross - reference as many deities as I can by animal (be it sacred to them; a form they take or under a deity's protection); plant, stellar phenomena, color and the like. I've gotten a few done in the animal category...but I've just started.
Less than 20 down - several thousand to go. The nerd in me is very happy indeed.
I don't know what will become of this later on. Will it become a website? Will it just be a hobby? I just don't know. I only know that I am deeply tired and deeply satisfied at this moment in time.
...and quite achy. Oh please, 'Enza, go somewhere else!
