I've been wondering about just how much it would cost to go to France - I would love to see another country! It would seem that lately there has been a whole panarama opened up before me...full of possibilities.

Snowmaker finally made a decent appearance for a while today - He dumped about two inches here. It was great packing snow too - perfect for snowman building. I scooped up some of the white stuff to cleanse my pentacle with - as the snow melts, so does whatever gunk is on it.

It seems that we haven't had a real winter this year - the temperatures stayed constantly about 60 (almost typed 600 - if that was the case, I'd be out of here!) with only a few exceptions of 17 degrees and one of 12. I think I've worn shorts more often lately than I've ever have other in deep summer.

I do love winter - I think that I'm the only one who really loves Snowmaker and looks forward His arrival every year like a star struck girl. I swear - everytime it snows, I start giggling like a mad person...or the kender that I've been told that I can be. I just know that when it snows, I can finally be comfortable - no more struggling with humidity which feels like I'm trying to slog my way through melted marshmellow cream. I feel totally freee as I stand there among the flakes (of snow that is...) The snowflakes remind me of Faeries as they flow down to the ground - especially if I just stand still and watch their movements through a particular spot in space. I can - and frequently do - stay out for hours just being out in the snow. Today alone, the only reason I came in while the snow was falling was because my coat was soaked and needed to dry out. Twice.

They're saying that Snowmaker won't get to stay very long, though. In fact, I think He's already left. It's supposed to be back to nearly 50 tomorrow and all the snow will be gone. It's a shame really.

Welp, that's it for now. I'm really tired and Kitt's getting irked because I'm not being a good pillow like I should.
