I just had a great time at the store - the kender in me came out (except for the stealing...I mean handling part - plenty of stuff in there that needs safekeeping though. You'd think they wouldn't just leave it laying around like that...). This guy asked me the usual 'How ya doin'? - when I replied that I was doing 'pretty good', he told me, "I'll believe the pretty part but you look a little too mischievous to be good!" This was after I 'harassed' someone else that I know there - after he tossed a box on the floor, the conversation went like this:
"Well just throw it on the floor..."
"I did."
"Well o.k...Carry on." (I added a majestic wave of my hand here. ;-D)
"Thank you."

I suppose you just had to be there.

I haven't added any new entries in the last few days - it was just too...depressing. I've been alone for the most part this weekend and my mind still continued to go on and on and on and on. It finally shut up after a while. I started two new pieces - one in Prismacolor that so far is just two big feline-type eyes and the other is an acrylic of a faery. It's a bit different that most that's out there - her markings don't stop where her wings join her body. We'll see how they both go.

Flora notes: I don't have the main ingredient for absinthe after all. I don' know what I have but it isn't wormwood. I definitely have southernwood but not wormwood. This plant isn't even in the Artemisia family. I thought that it may even be a wooly type of sage but the leaves aren't veined enough. Some of the leaves are also toothed at the ends. So I have a wooly, somewhat toothed mystery plant.

I added to the herb collection again tonight - I found a sale where all the herbs were marked at least half price. I bought sorrel, burnet, sage, and golden marguerite. (I'm sure about this bunch!)
