I was too tired to type when I got back last night but I don't want to forget some of the things I saw...

I went over to Momma's yesterday to celebrate her birthday. Usually, we go out to eat somewhere and shop but this time, we packed some food and we went out to Bledsoe Creek. B. went with us...I was trying to figure out how I could steal his motorcycle without him knowing. I really want a motorcycle...

We walked through the park for a while. We were walking along the lakeshore when suddenly, out of nowhere, we heard an airplane engine. It just started right over our heads. Turns out, it was somebody was stunt flying - it looked like they were that manuever where you fly straight up in the sky until you stall the engine and then start it on the way back down. It was neat to watch this guy fly.

We stopped in town to get some ice cream and B. thought that he had really blundered once - he called Momma by his ex-wife's name. All it got him was a few minutes of good natured torture. lol.

When it started getting dark is when the interesting stuff began. Seven deer came out into the field in front of the house - two of them bucks that began locking antlers in a contest of dominance. I don't think I'll forget the sound those antlers made when they clashed. The contest stopped several times - once because a yound buck was curious about the goings on and the two chased him off rather easily. I've never known wild deer to feel so comfortable as to act so normally with three talking humans around, either. The does just grazed, as if the two bucks weren't even there.

While I wasn't watching the deer, I was watching the stars. It had been so long since I've seen so many in the night sky - there's just too many lights here to see that many. I could see the Pleiades for once...
