Boy - when it rains, it pours...Art Bell has broken a story about a possible signal from an extraterrestrial source - e.q. pegasii star system to be exact. It is supposedly being monitored by several dishes on this planet - here in America; Germany,Normandy and several places that I can't remember at the moment.
Sheesh...I didn't think that John Glenn was that big of news...
Art's doing his annual Ghost-to-Ghost show tonight. I thought about calling in - but my stories aren't really 'spooky' enough. I thought specifically about the time we went hiking in Land Between the Lakes and I was so tired that it never phased me to see C.C. and Deosil sitting with me in front of the tent. Never mind the fact that they were physically 3 hours away and, oh yeah - both had died months before. Never occurred to me that anything was out of the ordinary until my hand went through Deo when I tried to pet her. I never did get scared by that - in fact, I was comforted by the fact that they were there when I was feeling pretty rough.
I think that I will break here. I should probably get some kind of sleep - I have that party to go to later on today. Should be interesting...but I'll keep the whys to myself for a while. Later.
Well- the party was interesting. Actually, it was fun - L. brought the pictures from Defeated Creek and E. and C. played the piano a bit. We got to see the video where our hostess swam with the dolphins in Mexico also...it was o.k. I wore my 'Life's a Witch' shirt and a big black witch's hat -ange but it looked really red. I just told everyone it was a nasty accident...someone didn't want to go into the cauldron like they were supposed to...
Of course, I had to see KISS on Mad TV...and I pretty much figured that much of the concert would be shown (a whopping two songs...) I have to admit, they did a pretty good job on Mad TV - I think my favorite skit was the one about the KISS action figures, "...Are you tired of your friend's action figures beating up your action figures? then you need...the new KISS action figures! Just pull the string." :::see Peter crushing the 'friend's' tank under his boot::: "Just pull the string and they will rock out!" :::see Paul and Ace slowly playing some riffs::: My absolute favorite was when they pulled Gene's string and, of course, he spit blood all over the kid's face! The skit ended when 'Mom' borrowed Paul for the night...lol. Where can I find my KISS action figures...??
Yes, I don't have much of a life...but that's o.k...lol
