It's raining. How long has it been since it's rained last? I can't remember but it sounds good.
I went out last night while the moon was full (it went full at 10:19 p.m., for anyone that's interested) and charged a piece of jewelery as well as communed with the Goddess. I had thought of calling Her anyway but She beat me to the punch. It was interesting.
I talked with Her for a while - this time around, my heart's desire was to find my 'artist', my purpose with my art. The answer I got in return was simple: Be quiet and listen. Be quiet. Listen.
While I was communing, I was aware of sounds in the trees that sounded like footsteps approaching me. I looked to see if anyone was there but I didn't see anything. Still the footsteps came closer. I also noticed that Kitt was 'on alert' and watchful so I decided to finish my conversation. Just as I did, Kitt nipped me on the leg to get my attention and started walking back to the house. Knowing that his instincts are usually good, I followed him. The footsteps stopped when I spoke to Kitt. I don't know what they actually were because they sounded to be coming right for me, yet nothing was there. Probably yet another curious spirit passing through. After all, the motto of the place is 'All creatures benevolent and good welcome here.' The experience didn't frighten me but I am curious.
I've got to feed the Pirahna (only at feeding time is the Sea of Felinity called that). They're getting turkey and rice tonight.
The Sea is calm again, now that bellies have been filled. I think that I'm going to go back out in a bit to 'visit' since the Sea has now been banned from the house. Too many stubborn felines in one house make for frayed nerves.
The rain has settled down to a calm shower. I'm listening to it fall on the tin roof and as it rolls off and hits the ground. I can understand why all those little fountains are popular now - the sound of falling water is very soothing.
I took in the first of the posters for E. yesterday - it was received very well! One of E.'s comments was, "You did a good job on her boobs!" She even called C. into the room and said, "Didn't she do a good job on her boobs?" I have to admit, that was the last comment I was expecting...I think it will go down as one of the wierder episodes in my artistic life...
I think that's it for now. I'm going to sketch. Good Night, Sweetie.
