Ah boy - ever had one of those days when you feel like you shouldn't have left the house?
Today was one.
I went out with my mom for a little after Xmas shopping - finally. I wasn't ready when she got here; I couldn't find my dayrunner (and therefore my money and atm card) and was feeling generally frazzled. I still haven't found the dayrunner, but I did find some money stuck in my jacket pocket.
Perhaps I really should have stayed here. Nearly everything that was said seemed to be utterly boring to me. I just can't drum up enough false enthusiasm or care about coupons; barbie (ugh!) or how all retail employees are out to get you because they don't care.
The low point came when she bought a tin with some cookie dough in it. Something was said about getting it home without denting it - so I playfully pretended to bang on it. I never touched it yet she actually sat down in the hallway of the store to inspect the thing so she could replace it if I had been dented it. I know this is why she did it because she said so - right there in front of everybody. It has been a long time since she has managed to both embarrass and piss me off so royally.
I don't suppose it was all bad - and neither is she. I did manage to get some good deals. My poinsettias were .50 and $1.00. The paperwhites were also $1.00.
Still - I'm glad to be home. Alone. LOL
Pentagram search update:
I found it!! I was beginning to think that it was gone forever...I found it at the bottom of the dirty clothes pile.
Could this be a message?? Could someone be telling me that it's time for a good cleansing?? LOL
