Art Bell has a guest (Pat Mooney) tonight who is talking about 'teminator seed' technology - where seed are sprayed with an antibiotic, like tetracycline, which stays with the seed until it is sprouted and the resulting plant begins to produce seeds on its own. The antibiotic kicks in and causes the 2nd generation seed to 'suicide'.

This is very frightening to me. If the big agro companies begin to do this regularly and people are forced to become dependent on them for their food production - what happens when a random event causes the loss of those seed? Genetic diversity is lost in the process...without that, the chances of survival are severely curtailed.

Don't these people ever think outside their wallets????

Sheesh - it seems like forever since the last entry. I feel like part of the time away from my journal was spent running around in circles - to Nashville; to class and back and the other part of the time, I just felt stuck. No matter what, I just couldn't write. I just ended up staring at the the screen.

Today was interesting - I went out to get photos for the weather/astronomy website. There were a few good high clouds out there - mostly cirrus and...shoot, I'll have to look it up. They were the type that are sometimes referred as looking like a patch work quilt. I also got a few photos of contrails to show how those artificially produced clouds (since they are formed from jet exhaust that freezes before it can evaporate) look compared to 'natural' clouds (which are formed from evaporated water that rises into the atmosphere from the ground - the average cloud 'lives' for only 5 to 40 minutes). I hope that one photo in particular comes out - it was the reminant of a contrail that was dissipating into one of those 'patch work' clouds. It was quite neat, in my opinion.

I am still working out what we talked about in last night's class. The topic was relationships, the energy in them, and a different view of what makes them either homosexual or heterosexual. It was more than a little confusing - even E. got confused a time or two. The point was that the reason that we humans have so much trouble in our relationships is the fact that we don't take the time to get to know ourselves; our energy and that of our partner.

So many people 'out there' simply see the outer shell - and whether that shell has a penis or not. That is what they base a person's being 'male' (the one with the penis, obviously) or 'female' (the one without.) on.

(As a bit of a sidetrack, I just noticed something - the word female has two parts: male and the suffix fe-, which is the symbol of iron on the periodic table. Does that make us Men of Iron?? And what does that say for the 'plain' ol' male?? lol) Anyways, moving on...

People also operate out of 'masculine' or 'feminine' energy. In the more extreme cases, it can be quite literally a case of role reversal: a woman may dress and act, or be mistaken as being, male or vice versa. There are several different energy combinations in relationships, as represented in this table:

(the 1st part symbolizes gender, the 2nd part symbolizes energy, i.e. MaFe symbolizes a male operating out of feminine energy)

Heterosexual EnergyHomosexual Energy
MaMa & FeFeMaMa & FeMa
MaFe & FeMaMaFe & FeFe
MaFe & MaMaFeFe & FeFe
FeMa & FeFeMaMa & MaMa

Yes, I know that some of the couples listed under heterosexual are male in gender. It's the energy that makes it a heterosexual relationship. One acting from female energy and the other acting from male. Gender doesn't enter into as much as we humans like to think it does - in face, Spirit doesn't care. It has no gender. It is androgynous. The reason that we are in these bodies of ours is that they represent the energy that we are least comfortable with.

So there ya go, right there, for all y'all who have been looking for the purpose(s) of being here on earth. What is it about masculine or feminine energy that you haven't learning to wield yet??
