Wow...you'd think it were spring already ~ 74 degrees and winds out of the south. It made for great driving as I went to pay the phone bill.
I got lucky. Usually, there are 3 million police between here and Lafayette but I only saw one sheriff's patrol on the way back. I can't help it ~ I'm a bit of a speed freak.
Next, I need to wash mo mhuirin (pronounce it 'ma vorneen' ~ it's irish gaelic for 'my darling'). That is, my truck. I can't wait!
Ye gods, you'd think I was a man hiding in this female body...oh well, I love my truck!
I saw a neat thing the other night. The International Space Station flew over. I belive it's visible for the next few nights for about a minute or two. I found flyby times at the Heavens Above website.
Oh yeah ~ one note to myself: be sure to check out that new junk shop called 'Church Street Treasures'. Maybe I'll get lucky again and they won't know what they have and I'll find a steal of a deal... |
