Happy Independence Day!!!!!

Quite a day, quite a day.

Lots of fireworks going on all over - I sat and watched the neighbors' as well as some that were being fired just over the hill. They were spectacular! No small time stuff - bunches of those big 'blooming' multi-colored fireworks. You'd almost think you were watching a commercial event.

'The Pig' has been put back in the field next door, alone. 'The Pig' is an appaloosa who had previously been pastured with a small herd of miniature horses. He made no bones about who was the leader of that herd and who should get the lion's share of the feed - if not all of it. He was moved a few months ago when he discovered how to get out without expending much energy - he simply leaned on the fence until he could easily step over. Either that problem has been fixed or they think that he's forgotten that little trick. My money's on him - he's too smart to forget.

I did a journey a little while ago - I got chewed out. Kind of. I was duly chastised for the 'oh pitiful me' kick I've been on lately. I was reminded again that I am not as helpless as I feel sometimes. Sometimes, I hate it when you can't get away with anything, especially a good pity party. lol.

I also had to confront a fragment of myself during this journey. It's the part of me that has alot of my anger and wants to control, all the time and everything. I found this part in a small, small room underneath a dungeon - all dried up and dessicated. I'd found him (yes, him) on an earlier journey but I didn't know how to deal with him then. This time, everything just fell into place. He became more alive and filled out. In the end, I inhaled him - making him again a part of me. I wonder how many more fragments there are to be found?

Good night, y'all - enjoy the holiday.
