Gee, the days just flew by - I didn't even realize that it's been four days since I've written anything here. It has been interesting...to me, anyway.
I hosted a chat Sunday and...one person showed up. I considered it somewhat of a success. If no one had shown up...well, then...I may have been a bit upset. What I found interesting was all the messages I got saying, "Hey, I was going to come to the chat but my computer crashed/I was out/didn't come online until it was too late...no, no, I'm not being paranoid (I think) it was just interesting.
The work on the posters continues. These posters are turning into the 'job from hell'. I was afraid that E. would want to see some prelim sketches Monday and no matter what and how I tried, I could not get the proportions right on that figure. The torso would be equal to that of perhaps a 5'2" woman while the hips and legs belonged to one...oh say...near 7 feet. Every time. Aggrevation from hell.
Turns out, E. wasn't in a hurry for it. She's more interested right now in getting her physical therapy done on her shoulder. Fine with me. I told her about the trials and tribulations of the sketches - and she said that was probably why she chose me to do it! She said that there probably some subliminal message that I needed to work through what was holding me back in this area. I just deadpanned, "I thought maybe." I've never had so much trouble on a project before.
There was a small problem with the people at SHA this week - they keep sending me all this stuff. Class schedules, workshop notices, membership applications...in multiplicity. So I said something about it. It turned out being part of class and on tape. I felt as if I was giving a deposition. I got to say my mind though - I don't need all this paper and I'm starting to feel hounded. Back off! I even got right up to the microphone at one point just to make sure that I was heard!
I got a message from C. today - I wonder if she's already been briefed on the situation? The tone of her message was a bit different...
Oh! There seems to be a dream circle forming on the Mystic Maidens forum. I mentioned perhaps doing an experiment to see if we can find out why so many people seem to be having dreams involving equines and large bodies of water. I think someone else has had a unicorn dream and one person mentioned a dream where hundreds of horses ran into the ocean to heal it. I can't wait to see how it goes!
Speaking of which - I need to go write the experiment...I think I've gotten all the kinks worked out.
