Idea for the story from this point:
The vampire continues to pursue the woman, who resists his advances ~ more or less. She gradually comes to open up a little to him - she doesn't know his true nature yet. They meet in some very public places then he convinces her to meet him at a party at a local club which sits on the shore of a lake. It's there that he tells her of his true nature ~ and he discovers hers.
Well, so much for getting back to the story...lol
I've mostly just spent the time 'frazzing', i.e. spinning around in circles. I did get another cake made somehow during all this ~ I'm trying to save it for Thursday but I don't know...the siren call of chocolate is strong...hehehehe ~ I'm a chocolate vampire! Chocolate of the world ~ beware!
Man, it's cold again. It's supposed to be in the low 20's or upper teens tonight. Now all we need is snow.
I've also developed another intellectual fascination...ooo, maybe that's an entirely wrong word for this. I ran across something (I don't even remember what now) on the internet yesterday about how Lucifer didn't even exist in the original version of the bible ~ it wasn't until it was translated into latin that Lucifer came into being. Turns out, the original Hebrew section of the bible which discusses Lucifer is actually about a mortal king who's fortunes took a serious downfall, thanks to his own nefarious ways.
Isn't it interesting how things get turned around like that? I'm wanting to track down more of the story if I can ~ it's like a historical version of that game we all played in school. You know the one ~ one person whispers into the ear of person next to them and the game is to see how turned around the whisper gets by the time it gets to the end of the line. Sheesh ~ I can't even remember what it was called. |
