August 21

I am with a group of people. We are on a journey back home - we are crossing a large body of water in rowboats. A storm blows up and the water gets really rough and violent. We don't know if we'll make it.

We end up on a peninsula of well cropped pasture. The green grass is only an inch or two long. There are two fairly deep ravines, one on each side, where streams have cut into the pale dirt on its way to the blue, deep pool in front of the peninsula.

The group decides to move toward the inland and we are getting ready to do this when I see movement in the deep pool. At first, all that can be seen are the tips of something that looks like horns or antlers. As they move closer, I see that they are the horns of at least five narwhales - and I know that they are called 'unicorns of the sea'. I yell as loud as I can, "Narwhales!!" just as the whales begin to breach and leap in the water and I hope that my yelling hadn't scared them away.

Suddenly, the narwhales begin moving toward shore and they morph into almost blindingly white unicorns as they near the land. The unicorns tell us telepathically that they are going to lead us inland but we must hurry. I hang back, as well as one of the men of the group, to get our things from the lone building that stands on the peninsula. We will catch up as soon as we can.

We are in a large, dark building with wooden floors raised a foot or two off the loose dirt. We begin looking at the dirt and for some reason, it is very fascinating to us. It is unlike the dirt outside - it is loose and musty smelling. I see a small grey bird's wing lying in the dirt. It is only about three or four inches long. The man walks back toward the door and I begin to follow - the dirt aisle I am about to take is very dark. I ask if it is the one that he took and he says yes. I figure that if he made it through this aisle, it must be safe and I don't want any vampires grabbing me. We leave to catch up with the group and the unicorns.
