I'm struggling with the topic of my next english comp paper. We're supposed to write a three page, double spaced descriptive essay. I've thought about several things ~ walking through the property and describing several of the trees on it; a day with the cats (I may do this one), the thoughts and motivations of why I'm in college as well as the misgivings that come along with it (another good one but do I really want to expose that much of my inner self in class?)
All I know for sure is that I really don't want to read it in front of everyone ~ I'm horrible at reading aloud. My voice goes flat, I lose my place in the text and I just want it over so I end up speeding my way through it. I'dprobablysoundlikethisifyoueverheardme.
Ideas for the Next Paper
Mishy; Spook, Boo, Kitt, Rochie, Angel, and the other cats. Today when I went out to feed, Rochie seemed especially glad to see me. He was standing on top of the dry catfood container and eagerly tried to rub his head all over my face, of which he was largely successful (the slobber kitty). Rochie got his name by sharing a few traits with a certain character, Captain Rochefort, from the Three Muskateers. Granted, it was mostly from the movie version of the character played by Michael Wincott but I digress.
My creative process and some of the things associated with it. Fears; misgivings, the meditational aspect, how a bit of one's soul is exposed with each work.
